One of the most read article of this blog if not the most clicked on is about Chiara Ferragni. Well, that's what a lot would like to believe when in reality I wrote about this phenomenon, concerning some brands and magazines, which consists of using the name and image of a famous blogger only for the main purpose of getting more sales (or at least attention) regardless of her/his ability in doing something. Some thought I was plain spiteful and other thought the same as me. It has been almost 2 years now since I wrote this piece and though I am not the least interested in The Blonde Salad when it comes to its content I must admit I am pretty admirative of the well-oiled machine Chiara and Riccardo Pozzoli (her now ex-boyfriend) created together. I could also care less about their breakup, I mean who cares ? (c'mon admit it, I know you care about it at least as much as I do, Google Analytics told me you looked for a long time if they were still together or not). But when it comes to blogging in which being in a couple is the new black, ah sorry I intented to say considered glamorous, a breakup can be a big deal. Indeed usually this fashionable and glamorous acccessory that is the boyfriend is not only here to walk our bloggers' pet or only to make them more appealing but, some of them are actually part of the iceberg we don't see, the whole magic behind the scenes of their lady-love business.
Hence today's choice to feature a video of Natasha Slater interviewing Riccardo Pozzoli. I promise, after watching it, you will say like me, so he can speak (understand so he has brains)!
Side note : I didn't quite much appreciate the way Natasha did her interview though her questions were pertinent. I felt like she appreciates being at the center of the attention hence her cutting him through a little too much in his answers when I wished her to just shut up stop talking.
Side note bis : You all know I am being ironical do you :D ?
So after watching this interview what's your point of view regarding personal style bloggers and their relationships ?
a presto, Antoine
Bonsoir Antoine,
