The archiginnasio of Bologna

Bologna is certainly not Hogwarts but its university, the oldest of Europe (founded in 1088), has nothing to envy to the wizards school. I would even say that it is as magical as Hogwarts. That's why I decided that it will be the perfect set to introduce you to my new purchase from Zara: my black asymmetrical dress.

Almost every day I walk past the Archiginnasio. Inaugurated in 1563, this building was first the headquarters of the University of Bologna before becoming nowadays a museum and a municipal library.
The archiginnasio seen from its courtyard

The Archiginasio was built under the request of the pope Pius IV in order to gather all the offices' faculties of the city in one place. Until then each faculty had its own office, which means that each office was located in a different area of the town.
When I arrived here for my year of mobility I ran all over the town to get my university things done as the system thought by Pius IV doesn't exist anymore.
But let just not only speak about my student misadventures and let your eyes be delighted by the beauty of the Archiginnasio and tell me what you think about my outfit:

It's been ages since I was looking for a long dress. I found the perfect one at H&M but fate didn't want me to find it in my size. Passing by Zara, I just happened to find the one you see on the photos. It was its asymmetry to seduce me. 12,99 € later this dress was mine !

I took this dress in black because it was the only color available at the moment in the store, but if I had known that it also existed in orange I would have taken the dresses in both the colors ! Black is certainly not the most joyful color but I love wearing it because it enables me to exagerate with other colors, therefore my blue loafers.

I added orange earrings and lipstick so that the attention would not only be on my loafers and to give some more personnality to my outfit.

What do you think about my outfit and the set chosen  ?
