Bolonia is the portico city. The porticos are meant to shield people from the sun or from the rain and easily turn hot sunny afternoons into enjoyable walks. It's during one of these afternoons that I decided to explore the Corte Isolani.

Bolonia is the porticos city. The porticos dates from the Middle Ages when the city experienced an important demographic expansion thanks to its university that attracted a lot of students coming from all over Europe. It hasn't changed a lot nowadays since students still come to Bolonia to study, but they don't only come from Europe but from all over the world.
In the city guides, the Corte Isolani is described as a way linkin the Piazza Santo Stefano to the Strada Maggiore. But really it is a place where you can take a walk, grab something to eat, shop and discover a secret of the town.
The legend has it that a noble man who suspected his adulteress wife sent assassins to punish his unfaithful spouse. However, one of the archer was disturb on seeing the wife dressed in light closed, missed his target. The arrow went and got stuck in one of the portico's beam. If you go to the end of the portico and if you look very closely, you will find that very arrow stuck in the wood.
The Corte Isolani is also a place dedicated to art. You can sometimes see paintings, sculptures of photographs exhibits.
I don't wear white clothes often. But I love that T-shirt. It represents the british singer Jane Birkin. I usually pair it with leggings or denim shorts. But I remembered these capri pants that were in the back of my wardrobe. I thought it would create a very casual but still chic look with this T-shirt. Mini shorts may be tranding but I don't really feel like wearing them anymore. Or when I do, I want to pair them with fun tights. Still too hot for that though.
It's simply impossible for me to wear a monochromatic outfit (black or white). I have to add a color touch. It's like my signature touch. How about you, do you have a recurrent personal touch ?
