MONKI shirt

   Sales, sales, sales, SALES ! I've heard this word a thousand times since they have started. Everybody seems so excited about them but I don't go crazy and buy a ton of clothes during that time of the year. It may be because I can never find what I want, or probably because any item I want is NEVER on sale. Also because I want to avoid the jostling and queuing for hours. Therefore, I didn't really plan on going shopping during the sales... until I found the e-shop MONKI.

 

   

   This T-shirt came from Sweden to  warm my winter. It is made of imitation leather on the front and cotton on the back. I was very surprised on opening the parcel containing my T-shirt to find a magazine. I had already visited MONKI's website where I discovered young women talking about their passions; among them Andy Torres and Susie Bubble. The two of them allowed us to discover Amsterdam and London, their shops and interesting places. So I figured the magazine would be as interesting and it was !

  This season's issue is entitled "The Freezing Issue". It presents young female bloggers, DJs or photographers coming from different horizons and giving their viewpoint of sweden and Norway. I really appreciated reading this issue since I don't know that much about the Nordic countries. It was interesting reading the viewpoint of foreigners living in these countries as well as Swedish and Norwegian people living far from their home country. 

   Besides, the idea of a magazine does remind me of H&M; nothing surprising since Monki is part of Hennes&Mauritz !

   For this ourfit, I finally tried on my "intergalactic shoes". My mom offered me these shoes a few years ago. The only thing i could say when she gave them to me was "Why Mom, why ?" I wasn't really into the color nor the shape of them, but when I saw the Monki T-shirt, I immediately thought of wearing them with these shoes coming from FRIIS&COMPANY, a danish brand specialised in shoes, bags and accessories. 

   I don't think I'll wear these shoes with another outfit though ! Do you happen to have something you'll probably never wear ? I'd be curious to know what it is !
